✦ Shri Ganesha Yantra ✦
✦ Yantra of obstacle-removal and success in undertakings ✦
✦ What is Shri Ganesha Yantra? ✦
Shri Ganesha Yantra — the yantra of the Lord first invoked in every Hindu puja. Every auspicious work begins with Ganesha — "Vakratunda Mahakaya, Surya Koti Samaprabha — Nirvighnam Kuru Me Deva, Sarva Karyeshu Sarvada".
The Ganesha Yantra is the supreme remedy for the removal of all obstacles and the attainment of success in new ventures. New business, beginning of education, house-construction, travel — installing this yantra at any beginning is highly auspicious.
Students especially worship this yantra for concentration, intellectual growth, and success in examinations. Wednesday is Ganesha's day, so yantra-puja on this day is most rewarding.
✦ Geometric Form ✦
Center: bindu — 4 triangles intersecting to form an octagon — 8-petal lotus — 12-petal lotus — circle — bhupura. The bija "Gam" is inscribed at the center bindu. The 8 petals carry the 8 siddhis (anima, mahima…) and the 12 petals carry the 12 riddhis.
✦ Presiding Deity ✦
