Karma Siddhanta — foundational Hindu philosophy. Every action has consequence. "As you sow, so shall you reap." Core message of Gita.

3 types: Sanchit (accumulated past lives), Prarabdha (current life fruit), Kriyamana (currently being done).

3 Karma Types

1. Sanchit: collection from all past lives. Fruits across many births.

2. Prarabdha: portion of sanchit fruiting in current life. Inevitable.

3. Kriyamana/Agami: being done now. Future-determining. In our hands.

4 Types of Action

Daivi: for devas. Yajna, puja.

Paitrya: for ancestors. Shradh, tarpan.

Manush: for humans. Charity, service.

Atma: for self. Study, meditation.

Karma Yoga (Gita)

"Karmanyevaadhikaaraste" — right to action, not fruit.

Nishkama karma = without fruit-desire.

Karmaphal-tyag = surrender fruit to God.

Sam-bhava: equanimity in joy-sorrow.

Yoga = skill in action.

Rebirth & Moksha

Karma = birth-death cycle.

New karma = new birth.

Karma exhaustion = moksha.

3 paths: karma, bhakti, jnana.

All karma offered to God = bondage breaks.

Jivan-mukta: liberated while embodied.
